Hydroponics is a method that allows growing in any space, having greater control over the nutrients that plants need, reducing production costs and strengthening the family economy.


Cultivating with this technique helps to increase social relationships since it promotes teamwork, it is also a recreational activity that brings people closer to the environment and helps to better understand their environment. 

STRAWBERRY

Strawberry hydroponic production systems vary in structure and management, but their main advantage over soil production is that they have a better use of space (Table 1). For the start of this cultivation in hydroponics, the same principles are applied as in the soil, where seedlings in root ball or bare root are obtained from nurseries and established in the system. When selecting the plant, it is sought that the crowns have a diameter of more than 15 mm to ensure their vigor and survival.
   
                          

RASPBERRY

Since it allows to cover all the requirements of the plants and provide the amount of nutrients necessary for their development. To grow raspberry at home, only the following materials are needed: raspberry seeds (the variety will depend on the place and the needs of the producer); a 40 percent perlite and 60 percent peat moss sandy loam substrate mix; 30-centimeter deep containers with drainage; nutritious solution for flowers, a tray for germination and a watering can.
