AREPA

Arepas colombianas de maiz con queso

The arepa is part of the basic and traditional foods of Colombian cuisine. The main ingredient is corn in different varieties, depending on the region where they consume it. For example, in the department of Antioquia, it is generally made of white corn and in the Santander region of yellow corn. It is a fairly versatile product in the kitchen, so do not be surprised to find dozens of types of arepas.

INGREDIENTS.

  • 2 cups of precooked cornmeal
  • 4 cups warm water
  • a pinch of salt
  • 1 tablespoon of oil

PREPARATION:
1. Spread the oil in a large skillet and put it in the kitchen over medium-high heat.
2. Place the water and a pinch of salt in a bowl; Gradually add flour and stir with a spoon. Wait about three minutes until the dough takes a little consistency. Then knead it vigorously until it does not stick to the edges of the container. There should be no lump.
3.  Form spheres the size of an orange and then crush them with the palms of your hands until you get circular arepas about ten centimeters in diameter.
4. Put them in the pan and cook with a lid for about 5 minutes; Uncover and back to the arepas. If you want the very crispy arepas, you can put them in the oven for about 10 minutes over medium heat 180 ° C. The arepas will bulge slightly and if you tap them gently they will make a hollow sound.

STRAWBERRY
Cultivo de la fresa en España: Variedades y ciclo de producción ...Strawberry hydroponic production systems vary in structure and management, but their main advantage over soil production is that they have a better use of space (Table 1). For the start of this cultivation in hydroponics, the same principles are applied as in the soil, where seedlings in root ball or bare root are obtained from nurseries and established in the system. When selecting the plant, it is sought that the crowns have a diameter of more than 15 mm to ensure their vigor and survival.

Influencers

After the arrival of social networks and their spread, new forms of work have appeared. One of them is the marketing incluencer. An influencer (in English, influencer) is someone who has a retinue of followers on social networks such as Instagram or on platforms such as YouTube who listen to their messages and their recommendations and spread them.

This profile emerged in the world of blogging until, with the arrival of new social networks, they built their own brand image and ended up becoming influencers. His work is carried out above all in the field of fashion, accessories and in the dissemination of lifestyles.

What would have happened if ... How would the present be if the story had been different?

How have we been a world where Napoleon beats everyone? Or in which Hitler wins the war?
Without Lenin, the figure of Hitler probably would not exist, who would require much of the support of the German conservative elites to the fear generated by the possibility of a Bolshevik revolution, who believed that he was the only one who could stop Marxism. Without the Soviet Union, Mao could not operate in China, there would be no Vietnam War, no Berlin Wall, and no Cold War ...

What would have happened if Napoleon had won the Battle of Waterloo and then defeated his enemies, including the Russian Empire, Great Britain, Austria, and Prussia? Some imagine the whole of Europe speaking French, a Napoleonic empire that spread to China, after invading Russia a second time, but now successfully. In this scenario of Europe under French rule, Germany could not develop the power or the threat that led to the First World War - and therefore, neither to the Second World War - radically changing the 20th century.
Britain, for its part, would become a republic, according to the plans that Napoleon himself had, and the British Empire had a quite different face, also changing our current culture. But overall, historians believe that while Waterloo sells Napoleon's defeat, a victory on his part doesn't have to ensure a complete victory, just delaying his inevitable downfall. It is also attractive to imagine a world without the horrors of the two World Wars and where we all understand the lyrics of Lady Marmalade.
Nuestro mundo se parece al que desató la Segunda Guerra Mundial ...
