What would have happened if ... How would the present be if the story had been different?

How have we been a world where Napoleon beats everyone? Or in which Hitler wins the war?
Without Lenin, the figure of Hitler probably would not exist, who would require much of the support of the German conservative elites to the fear generated by the possibility of a Bolshevik revolution, who believed that he was the only one who could stop Marxism. Without the Soviet Union, Mao could not operate in China, there would be no Vietnam War, no Berlin Wall, and no Cold War ...

What would have happened if Napoleon had won the Battle of Waterloo and then defeated his enemies, including the Russian Empire, Great Britain, Austria, and Prussia? Some imagine the whole of Europe speaking French, a Napoleonic empire that spread to China, after invading Russia a second time, but now successfully. In this scenario of Europe under French rule, Germany could not develop the power or the threat that led to the First World War - and therefore, neither to the Second World War - radically changing the 20th century.
Britain, for its part, would become a republic, according to the plans that Napoleon himself had, and the British Empire had a quite different face, also changing our current culture. But overall, historians believe that while Waterloo sells Napoleon's defeat, a victory on his part doesn't have to ensure a complete victory, just delaying his inevitable downfall. It is also attractive to imagine a world without the horrors of the two World Wars and where we all understand the lyrics of Lady Marmalade.
Nuestro mundo se parece al que desató la Segunda Guerra Mundial ...
